NOUVEL ALBUM

« A Dog, a Truck, and You »
Paroles originales – style country moderne
[Couplet 1]
It was a two-lane road, sun sinking slow
Radio low, and the breeze just right
Your boots on my dash, tail wag in the back
That old Ford humming through the golden light
[Pré-refrain]
Some folks dream of diamond skies High-rise life and fancy ties
But me, babe, I’ve got all I need Right here on this dusty street
[Refrain]
Give me a dog, a truck, and you
That’s my heaven, that’s: my truth
A little dirt, a little tune
A heart that beats in time with you
I don’t need no neon view Just a dog, a truck, and you
[Couplet 2]
Midnight laughs on a tailgate bed
You steal my hat, kiss my head
The stars don’t shine like your eyes do
Even that mutt knows I’m lost in you
[Pré-refrain]
Forget the rest, forget the race
All I need is your sweet face
And four wheels rolling through this life
With pawprints, love, and you by my side
[Refrain]
Give me a dog, a truck, and you
That’s my heaven, that’s my truth
A little dirt, a little tune
A heart that beats in time with you
I don’t need no neon view Just a dog, a truck, and you
[Pont]
Maybe someday we’ll drive too far
Find a place, a porch, a sky full of stars
But long as I’ve got you near
That barking joy and second gear
[Dernier refrain]
Give me a dog, a truck, and you
No shiny things could ever do
Just your laugh, your love, that tail that wags
And this old road beneath our tracks
Yeah, I found my dream come true…
With a dog, a truck, and you
